Handmade to Order

Many of our Oushak designs can be handmade to order in 6 months.

Authentic Oushack rugs are from Turkey with reproduction Oushak designs coming from Pakistan and India. New rugs are produced in Pakistan and India, are of good quality, and can be used with antique rugs.  Oushacks have the desired muted colors for today's contempory home decor with colors including touches of golds, browns, blues and moss greens. 

Persian Rug House has one of the best selections of Oushack designs in the Charlotte Metro area with several hundred rugs to choose from in various sizes.  In addition to several hundred of one-of-a-kind rugs, we offer handmade-to-order rugs sized from 2 x 3 to 14 x 18, runners, rounds and squares.

When choosing the size of rug for your space, the size of the rug needs to match the size of the room, allowing from six inches to 2 feet from the rug edge to the wall or furniture placement.  In dining rooms, the rug size is most important.  When chairs are pulled out, they should still be on the rug.

Don't fret about heavy furniture on rugs; just make sure furniture legs and bed frames are not rusting, which could cause damage to rugs.  And spills?  The naturally occuring lanolin in wool keeps spills from quickly seeping into rugs and allows spills to be easily cleaned.
