The distinctive destination
for quality Oriental rugs
since 1986

In addition to the fine quality new and antique Persian and Oushak rugs we specialize in, we carry fine quality hand selected reproductions of Persians such as Indo-Tabriz (named after the original one-of-a-kind Persian style rug from which the reproduction is derived) and reproduction Oushak rugs called Indo and Paki Oushak rugs. We also carry a fine selection of French style Aubusson, Chinese, Kilim, Needlepoint, Russian and Turkish rugs.
Flat Weaves have no pile, are made on looms and originate from several countries. They include Sumak, Kilim, French style Aubusson, and also Needlepoint rugs.
Antique Chinese pile rugs of fine quality are rare.
Russian rugs are mostly antiques, are very desirable, and are usually sized under 7 x 10. Russian rugs, also called Caucasian rugs, are made in the Caucasus Mountain area around the Caspian Sea. These rugs are of good quality and are wool with differing knots per square inch in mainly primary colors.
This fine Russian specimen, above, exhibits the quality of wool hue variation called abrash. It is usually a feature of nomadic tribal rugs resulting from dyeing small batches that can be used at that time, as the tribe traveled from pasture to pasture.
Turkish rugs include the category of Oushaks, and also Herekeh, silk floral rugs that are very formal, as well as lesser available Sparta rugs.
New rugs are produced in Pakistan and India, are of good quality, and can be used with antique rugs.
Our full line of top quality, hand selected rugs vary in size from 2 x 2 square to palace size.
